Good times were had by all at the Best of Philly Bash that celebrated their 40th issue last night. Many familiar faces and businesses packed the Art Museum steps under a massive tent equipped with a VIP area, DJ and sea of culinary samples of the best of the best Philly restaurants from across the decades. I had a sweet tooth last night — some of faves included the Dim Sum Donut from Stephen Starr’s Buddakan with ginger cream cheese and the Salty Caramel Milkshake from Shake Shack Philadelphia. Yum. The cocktails were flowing, and the music was loud. The night was perfect temperature and the view of Philly from the art museum never goes out of style. Federal Donuts was featured on the cover of the 40th issue, and they appropriately capped out the night by handing out donuts as we exited the venue.
